1. The short version
ExpatMoneyEU is a static informational website. We run no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no user accounts and no comment system. We do not collect, store or sell your personal data.
2. What we (don't) collect
- Browsing: we do not use Google Analytics or any equivalent. We have no record of which pages you visit.
- Cookies: this site sets no cookies of its own. (If affiliate or ad partners are added in the future, this policy will be updated first.)
- Contact form: the contact form opens your own email app (mailto fallback). Your message goes directly to our inbox as an email — nothing is stored on our servers.
- Emails you send us: if you email us at hello@expatmoneyeu.com, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We never share these details with third parties or use them for marketing.
3. Third parties
This site contains affiliate links (marked with in our pages). If you click one and open an account, the provider may set its own cookies or process your data under its privacy policy — we have no control over that. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
Our site is served over HTTPS. Our hosting provider may process standard server logs (e.g. IP addresses) for security purposes; we do not access or analyse them for profiling.
4. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your personal data, and the right to object or lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Since we hold virtually no data about visitors, these rights mostly apply to emails you've sent us — write to hello@expatmoneyeu.com and we'll respond.
5. Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. Changes to this policy
If we ever add analytics, advertising or accounts, we will update this policy before doing so and note the change date above.
